Biography

Louise is a registered pharmacist – Pharm (hons) – completing a thesis examining pharmacist interventions in mental health; she also completed a bachelor’s degree majoring in Psychology. Louise is a Master Mental Health First Aid Instructor, and also works as a Specialist in Poisons Information for the Poisons Information Centre at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, and as a sessional lecturer at the School of Pharmacy, Curtin University. With over 15 years’ experience in community pharmacy along with her current roles Louise has been exposed to patients with mental health issues on a near daily basis. Louise has two young children and is passionate about improving conversations about pressures and mental health in children and families.
