Biography
Dr Rebekah Moles is a pharmacist and Associate Professor at the University of Sydney Faculty of Medicine & Health. In 2006 she received the International Pharmacy Federation’s Young Scientists’ Award for Professional Innovation, for a project to develop medication education packages for children. This triggered the initiation of several projects in the area of paediatric medicines, with her research interests focusing on the management of common ailments in young children such as fever, cough/cold and asthma. Rebekah is passionate about the Quality Use of Medicines in children and is invested in the development of educational interventions targeted at consumers and healthcare practitioners to facilitate this. Having completed her PhD in the area of Private Hospital Pharmacy Services, her other research interests include exploring hospital pharmacy services internationally, and services provided across the continuum of care during the transition from hospital to home.
