Biography
Christine Timms was born and raised in Hobart Tasmania and graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1991. After 11 years travelling Australia and the world as an Air Force pharmacist and a brief stint working for National Pharmacies in Adelaide, she returned to Launceston in 2005 to purchase what is now TerryWhite Chemmart Prospect Vale.
Christine’s hobbies are herding teenagers, supersize jigsaws and running slowly. In her spare time, she volunteers as the Tasmanian and Central Victorian Regional Ambassador for parkrun Australia, an organisation bringing free weekly run/walks to communities across Australia.
Christine is an accredited pharmacist and was amongst the first pharmacists in Tasmania to become Authorised Pharmacist Immunisers. TerryWhite Chemmart Prospect Vale was heavily involved in the recent state government meningococcal ACWY vaccination program in response to last year’s outbreak in Tasmania.
